Doctor Nikitin graduated from the Military Medical Academy in 2001 majoring in general medicine, where he also underwent an internship, specialization: general practitioner, family medicine. He completed training at the Institute for Refresher Training of Medical Practitioners of the Russian Federation specialising in public healthcare organization, and underwent internship specialising in therapy and refresher course in infectious diseases. He received his primary specialisation in the Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry specialising in rentgenology.

The doctor’s sphere of practical interests, includes, along with family medicine: out-patient surgery, paediatrics, first aid, emergency traumatology, radiodiagnostics and infectious diseases.

Since 2002, he has worked as an expert doctor of the Neurological Department of the Chekhov Military Hospital. From 2004 to 2007: intern of the State Institute for Refresher Training of Medical Practitioners, from 2007 to 2009: Head of the Infectious Diseases Department.

Dr Nikitin repeatedly took part in tennis tournaments as the team doctor.
